Gorgeous Latino, 2023 USEF National 7 yr old dressage champion, is a Glock’s Toto Jr. son out of the highly successful “Manda” Grand Prix producing mare line from Stal Hexagon Netherlands. Gorgeous Latino, a black 16.3 hh young stallion has a rare accumulation of Grand Prix genes in his pedigree. Gorgeous Latino holds a record by earning 95 points during his 4 yr old stallion test in the Netherlands, the highest score ever given to a young stallion in the NRPS Performance Test. After being imported spring 2021 Gorgeous Latino successfully finished his NA Stallion Sport test just months later earning 8.25 overall with a junior rider. He showed in Florida in 2022, with Olympic silver medalist Sabine Schut-Kery. His debut was amazing, read show updates below. Through outstanding performances Gorgeous Latino is now fully approved Hanover, Rhineland, Westfalen and licensed KWPNGorgeous Latino is an intelligent quick learner, with a golden character, great work ethic and excels when pushed to new heights. Sired by Grand Prix talent, Hanoverian stallion “Glocks Toto Jr”  Totilas’ most popular offspring and 2020 Dutch National Champion ridden by Edward Gal who said: “When Toto Jr was three years old I already knew that if there was a horse that could run the Freestyle of Totilas it would be him. A unique fusion of the best Dutch and Hanoverian breeding.  Toto Jr’s dam is by Olympic Grand Prix Competitor, Desperados, out of a mare by Rotspon, with the added dimension of Bolero. Champion of his KWPN test Toto Jr. received 9’s for Walk, Canter, Rideability and Disposition. The committee praised him for his willingness to work and recommended him for the improvement of basic gaits, rideability and disposition.

Gorgeous Latino’s Dam, Blackmanda by Rubiquil is one of Stal Hexagons famed “Manda” mares that performed Dressage at the highest national levels and produced a string of successful Grand Prix horses and licensed stallions for Stal Hexagon. Some of those: Latamanda, Truemanda, Roumanda, Newmanda, Ushimanda, Banderas, Filamanda and Westpoint. Damsire Rubiquil represented the ultimate in rideability winning amongst many others Dutch Championships and team gold with a junior rider in the European Young Rider Championships before winning gold at the European Championships.

Gorgeous Latino, who appears to be perfect blend of his ancestors, is the 2021 licensed and performance tested son of Glocks Toto Jr (Totilas) in the US and out of a multi generation Grand Prix producing Dam line. Show Updates

Gorgeous Latino's show debut at the Global Dressage Festival February 2022 he showed himself to be head and shoulders above his classmates. At 6 years old he was impressively chill, focused and not fazed by the rearing horses, mares and stallions in the warm up ring with him. Ridden by Sabine Schut-Kery, he received 81.89% at 3rd level only to best himself the following week with 83.5%. In March 2022 Gorgeous Latino put in a super test for his first FEI 6 year old Qualifier by earning a 87.900% and subsequently a 91.5%. With the highest qualifying scores in the US, Gorgeous Latino was invited, and went on to represent the USA at the FEI/WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, Ermelo, The Netherlands. Representing the USA at the FEI/WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships in Ermelo, Netherlands, they placed fourth in the Small Final on the world stage. In 2022 and 2023 Latino is the highest-ranking U.S. FEl horse in his age group. In 2023 Latino won the seven-year-old Dressage National Championships. Gorgeous Latino finished the 2022 show season as the highest ranking US FEI and National 6 year old. In 2023 Gorgeous Latino qualified for Lamplight Festival of Champions where he earned the USEF Seven-Year-Old Dressage National Championship.
